Dua lipa is a English musician and singer born on August 22, 1995, in London United Kingdom. Dua Lipa signed with Warner Bros Records in 2014 after working as a model and released her self-titled debut album in the year 2017. The album climbed to number. 3 on the U.K. Charts. The album had eight singles that were released, including Be the First I.D.G.A.F. and New Rules. In the United States it peaked as number 6. Lipa has been awarded the Brit Awards for British Female solo artist and British debut act in 2018. Her album was certified platinum worldwide. Future Nostalgia Lipa released her new album in 2020. You can celebrate her birthday here. Dua Lipa was born London on 22 August 1995 to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. Through her maternal grandparent, Dua Lipa is Bosnian. Her ancestors can also be identified back to the Kosovo cities of Peja. The grandparents of Lipa's grandfathers were both history professors. Her siblings are Rina as well as Gjin. Lipa was influenced musically by her father the guitarist and singer in Oda, the Kosovan rock band Oda. The family home where Lipa grew up, was one in which her father would play music from David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics The Police Stereophonics. Lipa started singing at the age of five.
